Rates & Prices
All prices are quoted in British Sterling and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at at the prevailing rate. In the event the rate of tax changes, this will be automatically reflected in the price charged.
Rates shown are lowest available, based on two adults sharing a standard twin/double room. Bookings are subject to availability. Prices will vary depending on day and accommodation type selected.
During your visit, contactless payment can be made via card or our mobile app. Please note that we do not accept cash or cheque payments.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in is from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and check-out on the day of departure is at 11.00am.
Please check in and check out at the main hotel reception desk (this includes guests staying in a Floatel Room or The Shores Apartment at Tŷ Milford Waterfront)
The credit/debit card used for booking is required at check in. Please note that check-in will not be permitted without a valid credit card or debit card. On arrival all guests will be required to provide a valid credit card or debit card to guarantee room payment (if not prepaid) as well as extras/incidentals. This card will be utilised to administer a pre-authorisation charge of £50 per room per night, plus the value of any outstanding accommodation for the duration of your visit.
Occasionally, we may be able to accommodate an earlier check in, but this is subject to availability on the day and cannot be assured in advance. Late departures are by prior arrangement, subject to availability and may attract an additional premium.
Guests wishing to drop off their luggage before their room is ready may do so with the Guest Service Desk. We cannot however store guests’ luggage beyond their day of departure.
Cancellation Policy
Flexible Rates: The hotel’s standard cancellation policy requires that any cancellation or amendment to a flexible reservation must be received 48 hours before arrival in order to avoid a penalty charge. In the event the hotel is notified any later than this, a charge equivalent to the rate for the first night of the stay will be due. In the event of non-arrival the full rate, or first nights’ accommodation will be charged.
Prepaid Rates: Reservations made on an advance purchase rate (where the payment for the stay is required at time of booking) are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Please refer to your booking confirmation for details of the cancellation policy which applies to your booking.
Please note that group bookings are subject to different terms and conditions, which are detailed in the group contract.
Children
Tŷ Hotels is a child-friendly hotel group and welcomes children of all ages. A range of family room types are also available to purchase should you wish to enjoy more space.
Family room prices are based on two adults and two children up to the age of 13 sharing, and includes breakfast for both adults and children. Please note we are unable to accommodate children in our Floatel Rooms located at Tŷ Milford Waterfront.
The following policy applies to all areas of the hotel, all employees and guests either resident or non-resident. This policy is implemented to ensure that Tŷ Hotels is demonstrating due diligence in achieving part 4 of the Licensing objectives; “the protection of children from harm” as stated in the Licensing Act 2003.
- Children under the age of 16 are to be accompanied by an adult at all times in our licensed venues.
- For the purpose of this policy, the definition of accompanied is; to chaperone and continually supervise from a close distance. For example: sitting at a table with them.
- After 9.00pm, the Duty Manager reserves the right to ask children to vacate the public bars if this is deemed appropriate to the business. If there are children behaving in a particular manner and affecting the experience of our other guests the Duty Manager may decide to exercise this right.
- Children under the age of 16 years old are not permitted in any of our licensed venues after midnight even when accompanied by an adult (save when attending a private function).
- At no time are children allowed to sit or stand at the bar unless the accompanying adult is waiting to be served.
- ‘Home Alone’ – No child residents under the age of 14 should be left alone in your family bedroom. Your children remain the sole responsibility of you as guardian or parent.
- We do not offer a babysitting service.
Dogs
Dogs are not permitted to enter our Tŷ Hotel properties, however small well-behaved dogs are permitted at some of our Floatel Rooms and The Shores Apartment located at Tŷ Milford Waterfront. Dogs must be booked in advance and are subject to an additional £25 cleaning fee.

Gift Vouchers
Payment by gift voucher is only accepted if the physical gift voucher is presented upon arrival. Vouchers are redeemable from the date of purchase until the outlined expiry date.
Complaints and Comments
Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at any Tŷ Hotel should be made in the first instance to the hotel’s duty manager at the time of your stay so that it can be resolved at the time. Problems which cannot be resolved there and then should be notified in writing to FAO Hotel Manager.

Dining
Restaurants & Bars
Please be aware that children under the age of 16 are not permitted in our restaurant, lounge or bar unless accompanied by a dining adult.
Where available, Tŷ Hotels may provide a separate private dining area for groups. This will be confirmed to the Group Leader. Please refer to code of conduct and dress code in relation to your dining experience. We ask that noise in the restaurants be kept to a minimum for the comfort of all our guests.
Dining Reservations
We would respectfully ask that you are ready to be seated at the time of your reservation. Your reservation will be held for 15 minutes, after which time it may be released to other guests. Please be advised that during busy periods tables may be required more than once during service. Your allocated dining time will be based on your reservation time and number of guests and will be advised to you at the time of booking.
Cancellation policy
Card details are required on booking and are held as a guarantee. A non-arrival payment of £20 per person will be taken from this card in the event that you do not arrive for your booking. If you need to cancel your booking, please use the link in your booking confirmation email. If you do not cancel 24 hours prior to arrival your card will be charged £20 per person.
Selected special dining events require full payment at the time of booking, and these payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Special Dietary Requirements
It is essential that we are notified of any specific dietary requirements prior to your visit to ensure that we can cater for you appropriately. If you have not informed us at the point of booking, please contact the restaurant to discuss your requirements with a member of our team.
Dinner Inclusive Packages
When booking a dinner inclusive package for your stay, each adult will receive an allocation of £20 to use towards restaurant dining when staying at Tŷ Magor or £30 to use towards restaurant dining when staying at Tŷ Milford Waterfront and Tŷ Newport. Restaurant dining reservations are subject to availability. Any unused dinner allocation is non-refundable and non-transferable. The allocation can be used towards dinner only, between 5.30pm and 10.30pm. The allocation cannot be used towards drinks.
Dinner allocation cannot be used towards any special events dinner options, including but not limited to Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve.
For guests staying in a Floatel Room or The Shores Apartment: If you have booked an inclusive overnight package, breakfast and dinner will be served at the dulse restaurant located at the main Tŷ Milford Waterfront hotel.
